Marker Family ‘Race To The Stones’ – We Did It!

Richard Marker and 3 of his daughters recently completed the Race to the Stones.  Richard said “We met the challenge and beat it.   We completed the 100k Race to the Stones on the weekend of 11th & 12th July.  For those of you that didn’t know and I apologise for this it was only Stephanie, Joanna, Angela and myself that did the walk, sadly Karissa couldn’t take part as she was almost 7 months pregnant and the doctor’s advice was not to participate.   We were all a little sore, but very proud of our achievement.   The girls all had some good blisters to show for their experience and I have shin splints.   I have been told by my daughters that I will not be able to talk them into participating in anything with me again unless it involves laying on a beach in the sun.   I am not sure I will be able to talk myself into something like this again.
